How we test RELX devices in Bahamas (0.8 ohm mesh) (v2)
RELX devices advice for Bahamas, covering courier options, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
The gap between a mid-range and a premium relx devices narrows once you know which components you actually use. Vapour production is more than adequate at 100, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying.
Budget matters in Bahamas, but with relx devices the cheapest option is rarely the one that lasts. Two things to check before ordering: the Micro-USB socket on the base and whether the 1.4 Ω mesh coil is the newer generation.
The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. What surprised us most was how little the 1.4 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 70:30 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. The Cobalt Blue finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily.
Expect roughly 1605 full puffs from a charge at 0 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing. Delivery across Bahamas is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window. The build quality on Hcigar Akso is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry.
Vapour production is more than adequate at 100, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help.
Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 1.4 Ω mesh mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. The Cobalt Blue finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily.
Pricing in Bahamas shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current BSD rates rather than a fixed list price. Airflow control on the Hcigar Akso is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank. Vapour production is more than adequate at 100, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Frozen Berry Sorbet: sweet, icy, described as cold berry inhale with a soft exhale. On a 70:30 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 1.4 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Bahamas
Availability in Bahamas is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 1.4 Ω mesh and the Micro-USB are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 thread matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and BSD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
