Budget RELX devices picks under 30 in Bahamas (1.5 ohm regular)
RELX devices advice for Bahamas, covering servicing, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
The Bahamas market for relx devices has grown steadily, and the choice on offer now is genuinely broad. What surprised us most was how little the 0.8 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 65:35 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber.

The Crimson Red finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily. Worth noting that the magnetic contact takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below.
Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. Charging over Type-C fast charge takes about 46 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries. Two things to check before ordering: the Type-C fast charge socket on the base and whether the 0.8 Ω mesh coil is the newer generation.
Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 0.8 Ω mesh mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense. In Bahamas, availability of the 0.8 Ω mesh coil is the practical bottleneck, not the device itself. The standard bore mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips.
Battery behaviour is where the Hcigar Akso earns its keep: the 2000 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 100 and recharges over Type-C fast charge. We would pair the Hcigar Akso with a 65:35 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably. Replacement coils are widely available, and the 0.8 Ω mesh coil is the sensible default to keep in stock.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Grape Frost Breeze: sweet, fruity, described as dark grape with a cool, brisk finish. On a 65:35 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.8 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Bahamas
Availability in Bahamas is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.8 Ω mesh and the Type-C fast charge are both in stock before committing, and check that the magnetic contact matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and BSD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Take the time to get it right the first time; the difference shows up over months of use rather than days.
