Budget RELX devices picks under 20 in Bahamas: Noob
RELX devices advice for Bahamas, covering mixing ratios, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Budget matters in Bahamas, but with relx devices the cheapest option is rarely the one that lasts. Charging over Type-C fast charge takes about 49 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries.
Finding the right relx devices in Bahamas is easier than most catalogues make it sound. Comparing this against a 60:40 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume.
What surprised us most was how little the 0.6 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 60:40 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. The Ocean Teal finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily. Worth noting that the 510 bottom pin takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below.
Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help. Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 0.6 Ω mesh mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense.
Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal. Charging over Type-C fast charge takes about 49 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries. Two things to check before ordering: the Type-C fast charge socket on the base and whether the 0.6 Ω mesh coil is the newer generation.
The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 60:40 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. Pricing in Bahamas shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current BSD rates rather than a fixed list price. Airflow control on the AEKU Slim is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank.
Replacement coils are widely available, and the 0.6 Ω mesh coil is the sensible default to keep in stock. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. What surprised us most was how little the 0.6 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 60:40 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Pineapple Ice Cream: creamy, sweet, described as dairy-style pineapple dessert. On a 60:40 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.6 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Bahamas
Availability in Bahamas is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.6 Ω mesh and the Type-C fast charge are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 bottom pin matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and BSD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
